About the Position

Job Title: X-Ray Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Valid State License required Certifications: ARRT R, BLS, Fluoro Permit Must-Have: - Experience with Abdomen, Chest, Extremities, and Spine imaging. - Knowledge of radiation safety and infection prevention. - Proficiency in using equipment for bedside and portable procedures. Description: This position involves performing X-ray imaging procedures for a diverse patient population. The X-Ray Tech will work Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. On-call responsibilities include working three shifts per month. Weekends are not required, and block scheduling is mandated. The role requires knowledge and experience in using various imaging equipment. Candidates should have familiarity with the charting system. Preferred skills include experience in adult acute care and pediatric outpatient settings. The patient age groups span neonates to geriatrics. The daily census is approximately 475, with around 280 visits per day. Interdisciplinary support is available for comprehensive patient care. Special procedures and skills are essential for success in this role. All candidates will be expected to complete necessary compliance processes before starting.
