Location: Chillicothe, Ohio

We’re seeking a licensed Staff Pharmacist to join a collaborative healthcare team in Chillicothe, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who is passionate about medication safety, clinical care, patient education, and high-quality pharmacy operations .

In this role, you’ll work alongside pharmacists, technicians, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive safe, effective, and timely medication therapy.

What You’ll Do

• Review and accurately process medication orders for inpatient, outpatient, and/or retail settings.
  
  
• Prepare and dispense medications safely, including sterile and non-sterile compounding as applicable.
  
  
• Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness and make clinical interventions when needed.
  
  
• Provide patient counseling, medication education, and other clinical services based on the assigned practice area.
  
  
• Support immunization services and approved pharmacy protocols when required.
  
  
• Document adverse drug reactions, medication errors, medication evaluations, and other quality initiatives.
  
  
• Lead and support pharmacy technicians, students, interns, and other pharmacy personnel.
  
  
• Ensure daily pharmacy operations are completed accurately and efficiently.
  
  
• Use pharmacy and healthcare information systems effectively.
  
  
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and health-system policies.
  
  
• Safely manage controlled and non-controlled medications.
  
  
• Collaborate with the broader healthcare team to promote medication safety and positive patient outcomes.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program .
  
  
• Current, active Ohio Pharmacist license .
  
  
• PharmD or another qualifying pharmacy degree from an accredited program.
  
  
• Ability to work variable shifts .
  
  
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to medication safety.
  
  
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment.
  
  

Preferred:

• 1–2 years of experience in the applicable pharmacy practice area.
  
  
• Hospital, health-system, outpatient, or retail pharmacy experience.
  
  
• Experience with medication therapy management, patient counseling, clinical interventions, and pharmacy information systems.
  
  
• Immunization certification , if required for the assigned pharmacy area.
