The primary focus of this position is pre-operative patient education for the full range of Plastic Surgery patients, including gender affirming, breast cancer, other breast procedures, head and neck cancer, hand trauma, and general reconstructive cases.Minimum QualificationsLicensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) issued by the state of California.BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.Minimum two (2) years of LVN experience to be considered for a Sr. level LVN.Thorough knowledge of universal precautions and proper use of body mechanics.Proven ability to take initiative, prioritize critical demands and work in a team environment.Preferred QualificationsTwo (2) years of experience in a clinical setting.Plastic surgery experience.POCTEPIC or EMR experience.Special ConditionsMust be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.Willing to work overtime as required.Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.Annual Full Pay Range: $79,532 - $104,922 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)Hourly Equivalent: $38.09 - $50.25Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
