Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Protection in Salisbury, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a retail distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will respond to situations with professionalism, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the distribution facility, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials for employees, contractors, and drivers, and document visitor and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication regarding incidents, patrol findings, policy violations, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
