Responsibilities Promote patient‑ and family‑centered care in a healing environment; educate patients and families on self‑care, discharge plans, and medication administration. Participate in activities that promote patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance; engage in professional development. Develop, implement, and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with inter‑professional teammates; proactively communicate the care plan across the continuum of care. Use critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care; assess patient preferences, values, spiritual and cultural needs. Because this is a safety‑sensitive position, maintain alertness and work in a safe manner at all times.
