Vision Statement: To lead those attending the Stanley Campus and surrounding community into a personal, growing, life-changing relationship with Jesus.

Description:

• Be the primary vision-caster, purpose-promoter and spiritual director of the Stanley Campus.
• Ensure that the direction of the ministries, activities and mission of the Stanley Campus are aligned to the mission and vision of The Pursuit Church.
• Lead a Ministry Team who will enlist, train and equip volunteers to oversee and participate in the ministries of the church.

Qualities Desired:

• High Integrity and Godliness: Serve as a spiritual mentor and example for team members, families and community at large.
• Leadership: The giftedness to lead others so that they "buy into" the church vision and purpose, fully own their leadership giftedness and use their giftedness to motivate and equip the volunteers under their responsibility and care.
• Relationally Connectible: Emotionally connect with others so that people feel cared for and valued.
• Vision Carrier: Be able to live out and clearly communicate the vision of The Pursuit Church, so that all attending, experience the vision and carry it with them.
• Implementor: Build teams that understand and "live by" the vision and purpose of the church.
• Strategic Planner: Problem-solve, promote and implement the vision and purpose of the church.

Primary Responsibilities:

• To build, lead, equip and motivate campus ministry teams/volunteers.
• To oversee and cast vision for and implement effective, high-impact weekly services.
• Performance of pastoral duties which include but are not limited to: weddings, funerals, baptisms, child dedications.
• Plan effective community out-reach events so that those attending experience real community and are drawn to the church.
• Develop and grow an effective Next Gen ministry: children, students, young adults.
• Develop and implement an effective, vision-focused small group ministry.
• Develop a spiritual growth (discipleship) plan through spiritual next steps. This plan will focus on knowing God and living out Biblical principles.
• Manage/oversee the budget of the church ensuring financial stability and integrity.
• Other responsibilities
  • Provide assistance and support for 'all-in' church moments.
  • Attend regular weekly/monthly meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned by Lead Pastor and Lead Team.

Personal and Spiritual Requirements:

• Profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
• A commitment to living a life of spiritual health and maturity as outlined in scripture. (I Timothy 3 and Titus 1).
• Participate in The Pursuit discipleship model (Worship, Giving, Groups and Service).
• Model the standards and expectations of leaders within The Pursuit, including: - Owning the vision, values and purpose of The Pursuit Church - Abstain from illegal substances and excess alcohol - Using social media responsibly
