AI Engineer – Python & Snowflake

We are seeking a highly motivated AI Engineer with strong expertise in Python and Snowflake to design, build, and operationalize AI-driven solutions on top of enterprise data platforms.

The ideal candidate will bridge data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML technologies to develop scalable, production-grade AI applications and intelligent data products. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AI-powered data platforms, pipelines, and data products that support advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives.
• Develop scalable backend systems and robust data workflows using Python and Snowflake.
• Ingest, cleanse, transform, and prepare large-scale structured and unstructured datasets for AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI use cases.
• Create and optimize feature engineering frameworks, embeddings, vectorized datasets, and semantic data models to improve AI model performance.
• Deploy, integrate, monitor, and maintain AI/ML models in production environments, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, and Software Engineers to operationalize AI solutions using MLOps and LLMOps best practices.
• Build and maintain APIs, microservices, and backend services that expose AI capabilities to enterprise applications and end users.
• Optimize Snowflake architecture, performance, and cost efficiency for data engineering, analytics, and AI workloads.
• Develop and support data pipelines for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and other Generative AI frameworks.
• Ensure high standards of data quality, governance, security, scalability, and observability across the data ecosystem.
• Evaluate, prototype, and implement emerging AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), vector databases, AI agents, and intelligent automation frameworks.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategies that support the organization's AI roadmap.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–7 years of experience in AI Engineering, Data Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on programming expertise in Python, including experience building production-grade applications and data pipelines.
• Demonstrated experience designing and developing solutions within Snowflake.
• Advanced SQL skills and strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and data architecture principles.
• Experience building and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in cloud-native environments.
• Solid understanding of machine learning concepts, data preparation methodologies, feature engineering, and model lifecycle management.
• Experience deploying, supporting, and monitoring machine learning models in production environments.
• Hands-on experience building APIs, microservices, and integrating enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and AI agent frameworks.
• Familiarity with MLOps and LLMOps methodologies, tools, and deployment practices.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Prefect, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of modern AI and Generative AI frameworks, including LangChain, Hugging Face, LlamaIndex, or equivalent platforms.
• Experience working in startup, high-growth, or rapidly evolving technology environments.
• Proven ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies in the AI and data engineering landscape.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams.
