Corporate Financial Controller

We’re looking for a highly capable and adaptable Corporate Controller to lead and scale the accounting function for a fast-growing technology company. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys building structure through periods of change, and can operate as both a strategic partner and hands-on leader. The Corporate Controller will oversee all core accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, and process optimization while partnering closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders across the business. What You’ll Do Lead all aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Oversee preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP Manage day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and revenue accounting Drive technical accounting research and implementation for complex transactions Develop and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and scalable processes Partner with FP&A, Legal, HR, and Operations teams to support business initiatives and strategic growth Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements Support ERP and financial systems improvements, automation initiatives, and reporting enhancements Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team Help prepare the organization for future scale, acquisitions, international expansion, or public company readiness, as applicable What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities Combination of public accounting and in-house corporate experience preferred Experience within a high-growth technology, SaaS, digital, or innovation-driven environment Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls Proven ability to operate in ambiguity and build processes in evolving organizations Experience leading audits and managing external advisors Strong systems mindset with experience improving workflows and leveraging technology Collaborative leadership style with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution What Success Looks Like Establishing a scalable and efficient accounting infrastructure Delivering timely, accurate financial reporting Creating operational rigor without slowing down the business Building trust across executive leadership and business partners Developing a strong, future-ready accounting organization #J-18808-Ljbffr Confidential Jobs
