Responsibilities Process all new vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled. Prepares tax and title documents. Stock vehicles Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles. Advise runner as to what is being done on a daily basis. Verifies that funds have been collected before processing title applications and complies all deals. Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete. Complies and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work. Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles. Stays abreast of title regulations. Qualifications Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
