Serve as a professional care provider, educator, consultant and coordinator.Patient Age Group ServedAdolescence (12-18 years), Young Adult (19-40 years), Middle Adult (40-65 years), and Mature Adult (65 years and older)Duties and Responsibilities1. Evaluate patient's level of function; develop and implement plan of treatment.2. Monitor patient progress; maintain timely and accurate patient records.3. Complete all patient documentation and enter charges for services provided.4. Supervise those treatment delegated to PTAs and technicians.5. Ensure proper scheduling of patients to maximize utilization of time and equipment.6. Demonstrates ICARE Values.7. Demonstrates Service PRIDE Standards.8. Follows all safety rules on the job.9. Perform other job duties as assigned.Education RequirementsGraduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy approved by the Council of Medical Education in collaboration with the American Occupational Therapy Association.Experience RequirementsGraduate of an accredited school of Occupational TherapyCertificates, License, and Registration RequirementsCurrent licensure with the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners.Current CPR CertificationSpecial Knowledge, Skills and Abilities RequiredDemonstrates good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work as a team member.Demonstrates good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Work and Excel programs.Vevraa Federal Contractor – priority referral Protected Veterans requested.Skills and CertificationsCurrent licensure with the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners.Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy approved by the Council of Medical EducationAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
