By using our approach, you can build leading-edge MEMS sensing technology at low cost and high performance.We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Systems and Test Engineer to develop, integrate, characterize, and validate electronics for our optical MEMS products. This hands-on role combines analog and mixed-signal circuit design, PCB development, system integration, automated testing, and product characterization. The engineer will design and build electronics and test platforms for MEMS devices, develop measurement and calibration methods, evaluate system performance, and troubleshoot electrical and system-level issues.• Design and develop analog and mixed-signal circuits for MEMS drive, sensing, signal conditioning, data acquisition, and control.• Design test and evaluation PCBs, including schematic capture, component selection, PCB layout, board bring-up, debugging, and characterization.• Design and build custom test setups for MEMS devices, electronics, and system-level evaluation.• Develop electronics and measurement methods for low-noise MEMS sensing and high-voltage MEMS actuation.• Conduct design evaluation, characterization, verification, validation, and failure analysis.• Develop test plans, procedures, Design Validation Testing (DVT) reports, and characterization reports.• Characterize performance including noise, drift, accuracy, repeatability, linearity, bandwidth, settling time, crosstalk, temperature dependence, and power consumption.• Develop automated calibration, data-acquisition, and performance-testing routines.• Analyze characterization and test data to identify performance trends, variation, failure mechanisms, and opportunities for improvement.• Perform root-cause analysis of electrical, MEMS, and system-level issues and work with design teams to implement corrective actions.• BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.• 5+ years of relevant hands-on industry experience in electrical design, systems, test, product engineering, or related roles.• Strong experience in analog and mixed-signal circuit design.• Hands-on experience with schematic capture, PCB layout, board bring-up, debugging, and hardware characterization.• Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer or equivalent.• Understanding of MEMS sensors, actuators, capacitive sensors, or other electro-mechanical systems.• Experience developing laboratory test setups and automated measurement systems.• Proficiency with one or more programming and test environments such as Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, C/C++, or equivalent.• Strong laboratory skills using oscilloscopes, DAQs, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, precision measurement equipment, and temperature chambers.• Strong troubleshooting, data-analysis, and root-cause problem-solving skills.• Strong technical communication and documentation skills.• Experience with electrostatic MEMS or optical MEMS device and systems.• Experience with low-noise precision analog circuit design and measurement techniques.• Experience with capacitive sensing circuits.• Experience with high-voltage analog electronics.• Experience with FPGA- or microcontroller-based data acquisition and control.• Experience with automated characterization, calibration, semiconductor device testing, wafer probing, ATE, or production test systems.• Experience with statistical analysis and yield analysis.• Experience with reliability testing and failure analysis.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Self-motivation, out-of-the-box thinking, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environmentWhat We Offer• Competitive salary and equity compensation• High-quality individual and family medical, dental, and vision insurance• Professional development reimbursement• Visa sponsorship and support
