As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Unit in Bloomfield, CT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting unusual activity through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify potential concerns and support site protocols.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry for personnel and/or visitors, and observe vehicle movement at gates, docks, and other assigned areas to help support orderly operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
