Backed by a team of dedicated professionals and a commitment to continuous improvement, Dyno Nobel sets the standard for reliable and responsible blasting manufacturing and services worldwide.What You'll DoAs a Class A Driver / Equipment Operator, you will operate all types of Dyno Nobel trucks and specialty equipment to prepare and deliver explosive products to customers in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. You will be responsible for completing inventory records, other appropriate documentation, and reports. Other duties will include:Drive/operate straight bed vehicles over public roads in order to move or deliver explosive products to company or customer sites in a timely and safe mannerDrive and operate bulk/blend truck in order to prepare and deliver quality ANFO products to customer sitesOperate and perform maintenance on trucksDeliver and off load product within company H&S Management System procedures and practicesCalibrate equipment, calculate fuel percentages, and check emulsion densityFollow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions while driving and operating equipment, and while on blast sites in order to protect personal safety and safety of othersPrepare and maintain records and reports concerning the handling and transportation of explosive products, including safety, and the use and detonation of explosives, in order to assure accurate billing, regulatory compliance, and performance historyComply with applicable DOT, OSHA, MSHA, EPA and BATFESchedule :Monday - Friday: Shifts typically begin between 1:00 AM and 4:00 AM, with an expected duration of 10 to 12 hoursWhat We're Looking For:Class A CDL requiredHazmat Certification RequiredMust be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosivesAbility to read, write, and speak English, and to communicate in writing and verballyWillingness to work early mornings and 10 - 12 hour shiftsPositive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team playerZero Harm for Everyone EverywhereValue People – Respect, Recognize & RewardThink Customer.
