We are looking for a CDL Driver to join our team! Summary: This position must be a Class A CDL License, 21 Years of Age and have a Clean Driving Record with 6 months to 1 year DOT driving experience. The employee in this position will be responsible for transporting freight daily between one or more locations. Must be able to operate a truck with a manual transmission. The ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds is required. The work environment includes company vehicles and warehouse, plant, or production areas with continual driving/sitting periods and occasional standing or walking. Reading and understanding the information and ideas presented in writing is required. Forklift experience is a plus but not required. Must be able to pass all DOT and insurance regulations. Pre-employment drug screening will be required post-offer. We prioritize work-life balance for our drivers, ensuring they have the time and flexibility they need both on and off the road. At the end of every shift, our drivers return home—no long hauls, no overnight stays. Job Functions (Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements): The primary duties consist of (but are not limited to) the following: Follow safety rules and work procedures. Drives 24' straight truck and tractor and trailer to transport materials to and from specified destinations by applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and area roads. Prepare receipts for the load picked up. Maintained truck logs according to state and federal regulations. Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions. Position blocks and/or tie rope around items to secure cargo during transit. May load and unload truck; inspect truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water. Clean the work area or vehicle. Performs other duties as needed.
