Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in technical product management or a similar role leading developer-facing or designer-facing platform infrastructure. 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.). Experience with the AI/ML product development life-cycle. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in a technology or business related field. 2 years of experience in software development or engineering. 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders. As Product Manager, you will support typography for the AI era—uniting expert design with AI‑driven products like Gemini and Workspace. You will guide the evolution of 1,900+ fonts and 4,500+ icons, oversee migrations to Rust, and teach foundational AI models professional typographic rules. Owning a $3.8M+ Operational Expenditure (OpEx) portfolio, you will partner with executives to prove how expressive typography accelerates product Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. Align roadmaps and land advanced typographic innovations with major internal partners utilizing Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) data to optimize customer strategies. Partner with Material Design to drive adoption of Google Sans Flex and Google Symbols, while defining a data‑driven 2027 internationalization roadmap to expand language support.
