OB Hospitalist

Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, located in beautiful Spartanburg, South Carolina, is seeking OB Hospitalists (Nocturnists) to join a new and rapidly growing program . This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-volume, well-supported clinical environment while enjoying an excellent work-life balance with a nocturnist schedule. Program Highlights: * Busy 14-bed Labor & Delivery unit with over 3,800 deliveries annually and 12,000 OBED encounters * Support from an OBGYN residency program , providing opportunities for teaching and collaboration * Hospitalists attend all deliveries , emergency OB consults, and provide coverage for a 6-bed OBED * Double physician coverage model with Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) support * 24/7 in-house OB anesthesia , Level III NICU , and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) availability Role Responsibilities: * Provide coverage for OBED/emergency and unassigned patients * Deliver call coverage and assist private OB/GYN physicians with deliveries and gynecologic emergencies * Collaborate with private OB/GYNs, who retain care of their own post-operative patients Schedule: * Full-time: 12-14 shifts per 4-week block * 12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM) Compensation & Benefits: * Earning potential exceeding $400,000 annually * $50,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and student loan forgiveness available * $6,000 CME allowance * Paid malpractice insurance with tail coverage * Multiple attractive retirement plan options * Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Why Join Us? * Brand-new, expanding hospitalist program * Collaborative, team-oriented environment * Strong subspecialty and clinical support * Ambient clinical assistant available * Ideal for physicians seeking excellent work-life balance * New graduates and residents are encouraged to apply.
