Huntington University has an opening for an Admissions Counselor.
The Admissions Counselor represents Huntington University throughout the recruitment, admissions, and matriculation process. This role builds relationships with prospective students and families, manages an assigned recruitment territory and/or student population, and helps move students through the admissions funnel from inquiry to deposit.
Admissions Counselors serve as relationship-builders and enrollment drivers. Each counselor carries shared recruitment responsibilities while also contributing to a specific strategic area such as campus visits, events/yield, territory outreach, parent communication, or other assigned priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidates must have a strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to serve others
- Must be committed to the mission of Huntington University as a comprehensive Christian college dedicated to educating students to impact our world for Christ
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with students, families, and campus partners
- Strong organization, time management, initiative, and follow-through
- Comfort using technology, CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and data-informed reports
- Ability to work in a highly interactive and collaborative environment
- Availability for travel, evening, and weekend work
