Join our dynamic team as a Class A CDL Driver, ensuring timely and safe delivery of freight. As a key player in our logistics network, you’ll be responsible for transporting freight efficiently while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position provides a fast-paced, energetic environment where your driving skills and commitment to excellence will make a real impact. HOURLY PAY covering all hours active.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers, including Conestoga and Dry Van trailers and Containers to efficiently deliver freight.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in accordance with federal and state regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries seamlessly.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure safe operations at all times.
• Assist with route planning to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency, demonstrating proactive problem-solving skills.

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred but not required; training available for qualified candidates.
• Proven driving experience in freight transportation, including route driving and delivery operations.
• Familiarity with various trailer types such as dry vans, container chassis and conestoga/flatbed.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards related to trucking, including load securement and vehicle inspections.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to coordinate effectively with colleagues. J
• Must speak fluent English
• Hazmat Endorsement REQUIRED
• TWIC Card preferred
• Minimum 2 years verifiable experience
