Plus shift differential pay for: evenings, overnights, weekends.About the ProgramOur Crisis Stabilization Program provides short-term residential support for adults experiencing a mental health crisis. The goal is to help individuals stabilize in a safe, supportive environment while developing the skills, resources, and confidence needed to successfully transition back into the community.What You'll DoAs a Mental Health Practitioner, you will:Provide direct support and skills training to adults experiencing mental health crisesAssist individuals in developing coping strategies and recovery skillsParticipate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary team meetingsImplement interventions identified in Individual Treatment Plans (ITPs)Support clients in identifying and utilizing crisis management strategiesComplete intake paperwork, releases, and other required documentationMaintain accurate and timely progress notes and service recordsObserve and document medications taken as prescribedConnect clients with community resources and support servicesCollaborate with mental health professionals, case managers, family members, and community partnersPromote a safe, respectful, and recovery-focused environmentAttend clinical supervision, staff meetings, and ongoing training opportunitiesFollow all agency policies regarding confidentiality, client rights, incident reporting, and vulnerable adult protectionsRequirementsWhat We're Looking ForQualified applicants must meet Minnesota Mental Health Practitioner requirements and possess one of the following:Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science or related field and 2,000 hours of experience providing services to individuals with mental illness or substance use disorders ORBachelor's degree in a behavioral science or related field and completion of an internship or practicum involving direct client interaction OR4,000 hours of experience providing services to adults or children with mental illness or substance use disorders.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with adults experiencing serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI)Knowledge of crisis intervention, prevention, and de-escalation techniquesAbility to remain calm and professional in challenging situationsStrong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamCommitment to treating all individuals with dignity, respect, and cultural sensitivitySalary Description $23 - $24 + shift differential pay
