Make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents every day!This role requires Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background screening.Solaris HealthCare is seeking a Wound Care Nurse LPN to join our team!Key Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' wounds. Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Administer wound care treatments, including cleaning, debridement, dressing changes, and application of topical medications. Monitor and document the progress of wound healing. Utilize advanced wound care products and technologies as appropriate. Educate patients and their families on proper wound care techniques and prevention strategies. Provide guidance on lifestyle and dietary modifications to promote wound healing. Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding treatment plans and progress. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, standards, and policies.Qualifications:Current and valid Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) license in the state of Florida. Certification in Wound Care strongly preferred. Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience and Wound Care Experience. Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
