Primary Care Family Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant
Be part of something special! Natchaug Hospital is seeking a Primary Care Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide physical exams and medical consultations for inpatient children, adolescents, adults, and residential teenage girls. Assessments include taking histories, performing physical examinations and ordering and interpreting laboratory tests/data. In addition, patient education will be provided in a group setting. The nurse practitioner or physician assistant will provide quality, holistic care for patients, families and others in the behavioral health arena.

Natchaug offers a variety of services including inpatient and partial hospital programs, residential treatment for court-involved teenage girls, older adult services, clinical day treatment schools and chemical dependency services. Through its multi-site network of care, Natchaug constantly strives to meet its mission in helping people find their way while educating and empowering individuals to participate in their own care and recovery.
Shift: Full-Time 40 hours per week, weekdays only!

Qualifications:
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensed or eligible to be licensed in the State of CT
- Experience or interest working with behavioral health patients
- 1+ years' experience in a primary care and/or behavioral health psychiatric setting
