Payroll Staff Accountant

Process payroll accurately and on time Review inquiries regarding Federal, State, and Local tax setup Assist associates with payroll and tax questions and concerns Audit, identify, and resolve payroll and tax variances Conduct compliance research related to payroll and tax questions and concerns Reconcile data between Workday/OSV and Oracle/SAP General Ledger Troubleshoot payroll process errors Execute ongoing Payroll processes Facilitate cross-brand communication regarding Payroll functions and deliverables Create and maintain Workday data audit reports Assist with project development and implementation Assist with process enhancements, innovation, and technological updates Requirements Bachelor's Degree 1 year experience in multi-state payroll tax General ledger experience preferred Systems experience and strong aptitude with Excel, Access, Oracle, and SAP Workday experience preferred Ability to collaborate across departments with Payroll stakeholders, HR, and IT resources Outstanding leadership and teamwork skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to articulate complex system and process components in user-friendly terms Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment Attention to detail Ability to take initiative Excellent prioritization abilities Authorization to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship; sponsorship is not provided Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in multi-state payroll processing, tax compliance, and data reconciliation using Workday and Oracle systems.
