Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 13-Week Assignment with Possible Extension | Every Other Weekend (EOW) | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours (7:00–19:00) | Block Scheduling Considered

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Oncology floor
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:6 or 1:7, with experience in higher ratios required
• Perform telemetry monitoring and IV starts as part of routine patient care
• Document patient information and care using Cerner and Soarian EMR systems
• Adhere to unit scheduling requirements including every-other-weekend commitments with minimal time-off requests

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be obtained prior to start; if pending, proof of process required)
• Minimum of one (1) year of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and IV insertion
• Ability to work every other weekend with minimal time-off requests, particularly around holidays
• Candidates must reside more than 30 miles from the facility to be considered; local rate applies for those residing 31–50 miles away

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology nursing experience strongly preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with Cerner and Soarian EMR platforms
