Compliance Analyst, Supply Chain

divh2Compliance and Packaging Analyst/h2pCarpenter Co. has an immediate opening for a Compliance and Packaging Analyst at our Corporate office in Richmond, Virginia. This position will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring that all packaging meets compliance requirements./ppCarpenter Co. employees are committed to working hard to ensure production goals are met while maintaining operations excellence. As the successful candidate, you will collaborate with and guide packaging designers to ensure that new packaging is properly designed and compliant with the customers guidelines./ppYour additional responsibilities as the Compliance and Packaging Analyst will include:/pulliFacilitate the introduction of new packaging so that all compliance issues are addressed./liliPeriodically audit and verify current packaging to assure ongoing compliance./liliDevelop, improve, update standard packaging dimensions for the Consumer Division, ensuring standard cartons meet the various customer standards for compliance./liliActively participate in the Consumer Products Business team and the Compliance Working Group./liliWork with other compliance team members to plan, coordinate and execute the corporate compliance strategy to include audit planning and preparation. Will be essential in forming the overall pre-audit process, developing a proactive approach corporate wide./liliLearn/Master the various SAP processes and transactions that directly impact the compliance process./liliHave a detailed understanding of our retail customers routing, shipping and packaging instructions- manage Carpenter library of routing guides including tracking updates and changes to guides and communicating those changes to the proper channels- i.e. sales and ops. Work with credit to track and respond to chargebacks related to non-compliance./liliWork with manufacturing plants to make sure they are up to date on all routing, packaging and logistic processes. Plants should be visited, at a minimum, on an annual basis./liliCollaborate with wholesale partners to ensure all Carpenter packaging meets retailer requirements./liliDesign and manage packaging specifications, review law tags for compliance./liliWork with packaging engineer to Run all packaging tests (shake, drop, etc.) as needed and confirm compliance with customer requirements./li/ulpSkills/ Requirements:/pulliBachelors degree in Business Administration, Risk or other related field/lili3+ years of compliance or audit experience within a manufacturing or retail organization/liliExperience with retail routing procedures/liliUnderstanding of packaging design and standards, preferred/liliThorough understanding of production, manufacturing, product integrity production cycle timelines/liliSAP or similar ERP experience/liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills./liliAbility to work in an innovative, fast-paced and highly collaborative team-oriented environment/liliAbility to travel up to 10%/li/ul/div
