Logistics Coordinator

QuickPro Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator for a growing manufacturing client. This individual will play a key role in supporting production, logistics, and supply chain operations by coordinating transportation, managing production schedules, and ensuring materials are available to meet customer demands nationwide. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys working closely to keep operations running efficiently. Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm Pay: $20-$24/hour Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound transportation while negotiating competitive freight rates with carriers. Communicate with customers regarding shipment status and delivery schedules. Review customer orders and allocate production based on capacity, scheduling, and operational efficiency. Create purchase orders and coordinate the procurement of raw materials and production supplies. Monitor inventory levels to ensure materials are available to support production demands. Work closely with production, purchasing, logistics, and customer service teams to maintain efficient workflow. Assist with production planning and scheduling to meet customer deadlines. Maintain accurate records and documentation within company systems. Qualifications Previous experience in production planning, materials planning, logistics, purchasing, or supply chain management. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Experience negotiating with transportation carriers is preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. ERP or manufacturing software experience is a plus.
