An established law firm with a strong reputation in public agency representation is seeking a Municipal Attorney to support its expanding municipal and government practice group.

This role offers exposure to a wide variety of legal matters affecting cities, utilities, and public entities, making it an excellent opportunity for attorneys seeking diverse, intellectually engaging work with long-term stability and flexibility.

The Opportunity:

• Advise municipalities and public agencies on operational and legal matters
• Handle land use, zoning, utility, and public works issues
• Draft contracts, ordinances, resolutions, and legal opinions
• Attend council or board meetings as needed
• Work closely with experienced attorneys in a collaborative environment

Qualifications:

• Licensed or eligible to practice in Washington
• Experience in municipal law or related practice areas preferred
• Backgrounds in prosecution/government work welcomed
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to manage projects and client relationships independently

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between [$120,000 – $160,000 base annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
