Senior Project ManagerOur client seeks a Senior Project Manager for the Family and Economic Support Technical Services (FESTS) section supporting child support systems.TasksProject management/coordination, direction, guidance and consultation of multiple projects using waterfall, agile and hybrid agile methodologies.PMO support tasks such as managing action items and backlog, tracking risks and issues, preparing instructions, preparing meeting agendas and minutes, preparing and managing communication plans, assisting with process improvements, tracking resource allocation, preparing status reports, managing work plans, and serving as a liaison between business and technical partnersDocument risks and develop mitigation plans. Identifies, tracks, and ensures resolution of issues and removal of barriers.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:Excellent oral and written communication skillsKnowledge and understanding of standard project management industry practices such as the PMI's framework.Understands business and technical objectives of a project and works with project team and sponsor.Skills Required15+ years - Experience working with a business customer to document requirements, analysis and design deliverables15+ years - Experience completing Unit/Development Testing, Systems Testing, and Supporting User Acceptance TestingTeam management expertise including creation, assignment, and tracking of work tasks and responsibilities12+ years - Technical writing and documentation10+ years - Experience using SQL, SPUFI, Platinum, File Manager, Debugger, QMF Tools or equivalentExperience with creation of detailed workplans using automated toolsApplication Development and Support - all phases of the systems development life cycle - supporting a CICS/DB2/COBOL/SAS/JCL Mainframe SystemsMS Product experience (Excel, Outlook, Project, Word)Use of Changeman, CNTL-M, JIRA Service Management, or similar tracking mechanism in performing software management activities.
