This role offers a balanced, lower-acuity practice environment with strong system support and flexible scheduling. Position Highlights: Approximately 450–500 births per year Lower-risk L&D population; high-risk cases transferred to SSM Health St. Mary's in Madison Triage unit available (no dedicated OB/ED) Level III NICU support within the system Anesthesia available within 30 minutes Flexible 10–12 hour shifts Clinical Responsibilities: Manage labor and delivery for low to moderate-risk patients Perform vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, ectopic pregnancy management, and other essential OB/GYN procedures Support triage evaluations and inpatient consults Ideal Candidate: Board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN Skilled in full-scope obstetric and gynecologic procedures Team-oriented and committed to high-quality, patient-centered care SSM Health's healing legacy originated in St. Louis, Missouri over 150 years ago where five nuns, known as the Sisters of St. Mary's, were called to aid and heal in God's name.
