Physical Therapist (PT) Full-Time

RiverView Health is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our Rehabilitation Services team. This full-time position is 6480 hours per pay period and offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population across outpatient and inpatient settings.

This position includes participation in a weekend and holiday rotation.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care based on functional, measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions across outpatient, inpatient, and sub-acute settings.
• Help patients improve mobility, independence, function, and overall quality of life.
• Identify and address each patient's physical, emotional, cultural, and psychosocial needs with compassion and professionalism.
• Educate patients and families on safety, mobility, home programs, and strategies to support continued progress.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Effectively delegate and supervise Physical Therapist Assistants as appropriate.
• Complete timely documentation and billing in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
• Maintain clinical competency through continuing education and professional development.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and participate in department initiatives, education, and community outreach opportunities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (MPT, MS, or DPT).
• Current State of Minnesota Physical Therapist licensure or eligibility for licensure.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. If not current, training will be provided and certification must be obtained within 4 months from the date of hire or employment will be terminated.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• A positive, compassionate, and professional approach to patient care and teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of healthcare or clinical experience.
• Previous experience in outpatient and/or inpatient rehabilitation settings.
• Specialized training or interest in Pelvic Health Services.
