Cardiopulmonary Therapist

Location: Smyrna, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Job Description: Join our dynamic Cardiopulmonary unit, where you will be a key player in delivering exceptional respiratory care to our patients. Our facility provides the latest technology and supportive team environment to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and education.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a high quality of care.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as Pyxis med dispense and Drager vents.
• Document patient care and treatment plans using Meditech documentation system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are required; NRP preferred.
• A positive attitude, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Two Respiratory Therapists are core staffing for this unit.
