Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit within a short-term acute care facility
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5, delivering safe and effective nursing care in accordance with facility standards
• Float between units as needed to support staffing and patient care demands
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic EMR
• Adhere to facility dress code and departmental policies throughout the assignment
• Fulfill holiday shift commitments as required per contract terms

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be active and in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Proficiency with Epic EMR (Epic Hardstop compliance required)
• Ability to commit to weekend shifts (6 shifts per 6-week period)
• Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or similarly acute environment
• Familiarity with travel nursing compliance processes and documentation requirements
• Flexibility to float to sister facilities within the health system as needed
