Inventory Specialist, DCNJ

Position Summary

The Inventory Specialist, also receiving associate, shares responsibility for receiving, storing, maintaining, and replenishing inventory while supporting efficient warehouse operations. This role ensures products are accurately received, labeled, stored, counted, and moved throughout the facility while adhering to all safety standards and warehouse procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work a full-time schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and maintain dependable attendance.
• Receive, sort, and place materials or products into designated warehouse locations.
• Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to enter records and label inventory.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counting and replenishment activities.
• Operate material handling equipment to transport products throughout the warehouse.
• Assist with container unloading and palletization of inventory.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and support operational demands.
• Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Deep-reach forklift experience required
• Experience operating warehouse material handling equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Basic computer skills and experience working with inventory or warehouse systems.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.

Compensation

Hiring Range: $17.25 - 32.00 USD per hour

Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, education, geographic location, market conditions, and applicable skills.
