City Delivery Supervisor-2

Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $14.42 - $20.40 an hour, plus potential annual or quarterly performance premiums based on schedule, facility, season or specific work performed. Responsibilities To manage and oversee all aspects of daily hub operations, including supervision of the city delivery dispatcher, hub delivery specialists and additional team members assigned to the hub. Serve as supervisor responsible for maintaining a high level for all city delivery service functions. Work with the city delivery dispatcher to ensure all products are properly invoiced to spoke stores. Investigate shipping and inventory discrepancies related to the hub and correct them in a timely manner. Manage and minimize shrink and payroll related to hub operation. Oversee all hub delivery routes, ensuring routes are followed, efficiency maximized and costs minimized. Manage all expenses related to the hub side of business to maximize profitability for hub and spoke stores. Maintain an organized, clean city delivery area divided into areas/bins for each spoke store. Maintain monthly work schedules for all team members under supervision. Ensure team members clock in and out according to company policy and that the dispatcher monitors route schedules. Communicate delays to stores remaining on the route. Coordinate with store managers to cover routes in the absence of regular supervisors or specialists. Work with store managers and specialists to ensure vehicle maintenance and quarterly inspections are completed accurately. Log daily mileage into asset management for all vehicles. Provide input on dispatcher and specialists’ performance for performance evaluations. Ensure company training programs are utilized for hub team development. Qualifications Required: Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Required: Good interpersonal communication skills. Desired: Familiarity with automotive parts.
