State Licensed Transactional Counsel

To support a growing vendor legal team, the remote Counsel II, Vendor will negotiate and manage a high volume of vendor agreements while designing and improving legal processes to enhance efficiency and scalability. Key responsibilities Lead negotiation, drafting, and execution of various vendor agreements, managing a busy deal pipeline with sound judgment Design and implement playbooks and workflows that streamline operations and reduce cycle time without compromising quality Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide practical legal guidance and develop training resources for business partners Required qualifications JD and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar 5+ years of relevant transactional experience in-house at a technology company or at a top law firm Exceptional drafting skills with experience in fintech, payments, or financial services Strong working knowledge of data protection and privacy regimes such as CCPA and GDPR Proven ability to manage high deal volume while maintaining quality and consistency
