Automotive Technician

Required Skills & Experience

•2-5 years of experience as an automotive service technician, including previous experience with EV/HEV diagnosis and repair

•Knowledge of High Voltage systems, Low Voltage systems, and Electric Vehicle powertrains

•Customer facing experience exhibiting excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to use applications such as Microsoft Office as well as learn proprietary DMS software

• EPA 609 Certification

• Willingness to complete provided CPR training post hire

• Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year. (Drivers under 21 must have maintained a Driver’s License for a minimum of 3 years and successfully complete Client Training upon hire)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• ASE Certifications (A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, L3, L4 - ADAS)

• Experience in luxury automobile repair environments

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Service Technician to sit onsite at an Electric Vehicle client in Plainview, NY. You will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining and repairing vehicles. You will demonstrate your passion for sustainable transportation and creatively solve problems in a fast-paced environment. As a Service Technician, it is expected to have ASE certifications obtained within 6-8 months of hire date. The client will reimburse the cost associated with successful completion.

(This role can pay $31 - 43/hr depending on years of experience and certifications),

Compensation :

$31/hr to $43/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
