As a Security Officer Roving Patrol Guard in De Soto, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access, verify credentials as directed, and support visitor processing protocols.
- Support daily operations at a technology-focused location by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and communicating clearly with employees, guests, and/or first responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
