Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide expert nursing care to emergency department patients, ensuring timely assessment, treatment, and stabilization. Collaborate with medical staff to deliver quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions promptly upon arrival and determine priority of care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and overall status, documenting findings accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and update patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Current State Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations with strong critical thinking skills.
