Forklift Operator

Our client in Plymouth Meeting is seeking a Forklift Driver to start as soon as possible on their 1st shift. They specialize in private label packaging for companies of all sizes. This includes assistance in all phases of production including R&D, product development, packaging and distribution.

7AM – 7PM, Mon – Thurs.

Job Functions

Moves materials with forklift
Stages and destages materials, ensuring the count is correct
Coordinates materials for over runs
Communicates to multiple department heads and warehouse staff
Communicates with production personnel to make sure all production requirements are met
Conducts daily inventory analysis to anticipate and resolve potential inventory problems
Monitors, reviews, and reports daily inventory adjustments
Helps coordinate regular cycle counts and the annual physical inventory count
Maintains related documents

Job Requirements

MUST have a minimum of 1 years' experience operating a sit-down, propane forklift
Forklift certification preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in manufacturing (experience in chemical manufacturing a plus)
