Job Description

Hourly rate: $22.00 - $30.75

Job Responsibilities

• In accordance with company policies and procedures, this position is responsible for maintaining the refrigeration systems
• This position will operate and repair industrial refrigeration systems (Freon, Ammonia)
• Maintain pertinent records on the ammonia equipment
• Practice safe handling of ammonia in its liquid and gas state
• Maintain and update Emergency Procedures
• Work schedules will be discussed at the interview

Minimum Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in plumbing & electrical and demonstrate good communication skills
• One-year experience in a boiler operation
• Excellent history of Safety
• Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision
• PHYSICAL: No restrictions prohibiting bending, twisting and lifting to 50 pounds or more
• Ability to wear a SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus)

Preferred Qualifications

• Five years' experience in Industrial Refrigeration Operations
• Freon Certified
• Boiler school certified
• Three years' experience in boiler operation
• Technical School diploma in Refrigeration

Response Process

To be considered for this position, you must have completed six (6) months in your present position. Team Members with less than six (6) months may be considered for promotion or transfer based on the needs of the company.
