Pay Rate: $28.71 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aero and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, restricted zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. Monitor access points and credential activity, challenge unauthorized persons when appropriate, and support the control of entry to sensitive areas involving equipment, materials, and/or operations. Support incident reporting, post orders, and preparedness procedures by completing required logs, maintaining situational awareness, and assisting with responses to medical, fire, and/or facility‑related events. Minimum Requirements Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Possess Act 235 qualification for positions in Pennsylvania only. Pepper spray certification is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
