Senior Software Development Manager

Salary: $142,000 - 194,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline, plus 4 years of experience in the role offered or in a Software Development Senior Manager-related position.
• We require experience in cybersecurity program development and management, including governance, risk, and compliance (GRC).
• We require experience with security architecture design for enterprise and cloud-based environments.
• We require experience in identity and access management (IAM), including SSO, MFA, and identity governance.
• We require experience in security operations, including threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• We require experience in data protection, including encryption, data loss prevention, and compliance with PCI DSS, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.
• We require experience in network and communications security, including zero trust architecture and firewall administration.
• We require experience in cloud security, including deploying and managing security controls across AWS and Azure.
• We require people management experience, including hiring, mentoring, performance management, and leading security engineering teams.
• We require experience in technical strategy and innovation management, including roadmap planning, technology evaluation, and adoption of emerging security technologies.
• We require experience with secure software development lifecycle and DevSecOps, including integrating security into development pipelines, static and dynamic code analysis, and security automation.
• We require strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, along with a solid understanding of product development.
• We require a BS or MS degree, or equivalent experience relevant to the functional area, and 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

• We manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks, and related systems.
• We oversee software development work tied to building, debugging, and designing applications, operating systems, and databases in line with defined design specifications.
• We apply our software architecture expertise to guide development efforts and drive enhancements within existing architecture.
• We recommend improvements to the current software architecture.
• We manage activities across multiple functional areas and ensure operational planning is executed to meet corporate requirements.
