Product Marketing Manager

The applications in which our products are used are typically in the higher-performance, higher-power segments of the market segments we serve. Our products are sold worldwide to customers ranging from small to large global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), their contract manufacturers (CM’s) and internationally to distributors who support their supply chains. Our Advanced Products serve customers concentrated in the High Performance Computing, Aerospace and Defense, Industrial and Automotive markets. Applications range from powering advanced processors in server motherboards and artificial intelligence accelerator cards and systems, server rack power conversion, radar systems, industrial automation, instrumentation, test equipment, solid state lighting, telecommunications and networking infrastructure, and mild hybrid and pure electric vehicle (EV) automobiles. Our Brick Products serve customers in aerospace and defense electronics, industrial automation, industrial equipment, instrumentation and test equipment, and transportation (notably in rail and heavy equipment applications). Job Summary Vicor is seeking an experienced and self-motivated contributor for its product marketing team. This individual will manage the product marketing from product release through end-of-life with an emphasis on customer centricity and operational excellence. The tactical product marketing manager is responsible for the life cycle of Vicor products and will work closely with sales, channel partners, engineering, and manufacturing. This individual should have a strong business acumen and be capable of gaining support and coordinating activities across a dynamic organization. The ideal candidate will be extremely detail oriented with an eye towards continuous improvement in all customer-facing processes. Job Description

• Oversee the life cycle management of Vicor’s broad range of products
• Own the new product introduction to sales process, working with the corporate marketing team to launch promotional campaigns and enable sales and channel partners to win business with new products
• Develop and own the pricing strategy and work with customer facing teams to make strategic pricing decisions
• Manage the product and marketing systems, working closely with engineering and manufacturing organizations
• Manage and improve the new product samples program
• Develop product-related content for training and engagement and ensure readiness of “whole product” deliverablesEducation / Qualifications

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business Administration or Marketing, BS Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, related experience
• 10 years related technical sales/marketing or related experience
• Experience collaborating with sales and distribution
• Experience in content creation and sales enablement
