About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a JD, be a member of a U.S. state bar, and have at least 8 years of legal experience, with a strong background in privacy and product counseling, particularly in the tech or consumer product space. Key responsibilities for this role at the company include supporting commercial transactions, optimizing legal processes, and owning regulatory and litigation matters. The role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to balance legal and business risks, and a collaborative, agile approach to problem-solving. Technical fluency in AI and machine learning is essential, as is the ability to engage with technical teams on data architecture and evaluation issues. Experience in building and iterating on legal tech tools, as well as a proactive, hands-on approach to legal work, are also important.
