Distribution Support Specialist Garland, TX, United States | req31052 Responsibilities You will support Distribution Management by leading safety communications, providing driver coaching, and delivering corrective feedback to improve performance. You will conduct customer site surveys, clearly communicate findings, and recommend actionable improvements to enhance safety and operations. Ensure compliance with Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports by reviewing submissions, following up on issues, and maintaining accurate documentation. You will plan and facilitate driver safety meetings, track attendance, and manage follow-up actions to reinforce safety standards. Additionally, train third‑party drivers on quality assurance programs through ride‑along observations and hands‑on coaching. You will deliver driver training and re‑training on product knowledge, defensive driving, and required certification programs while supporting renewal processes. Evaluate driver performance, provide coaching, document outcomes, and support ongoing development and accountability. Manage administrative responsibilities such as training records, safety documentation, payroll auditing, and coordination with logistics while providing back‑up support to leadership. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent with more than five (5+) years of experience in distribution, logistics, or cryogenic operations. Knowledge of cryogenic gases and safety protocols to support driver training, compliance, and safety programs. Strong attention to detail when performing quality assurance testing and maintaining accurate documentation. Provide constructive, professional, and patient feedback to team members to support continuous improvement and performance development. Utilize Microsoft Office 365 tools (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, OneNote, Teams) for effective reporting and communication. Deliver professional presentations, including to large groups, to support training initiatives and operational goals. Maintain a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements while safely performing physical tasks and working in various environments. Adapt to flexible schedules, travel up to 50%, support on‑call responsibilities, and carry company equipment to meet operational and training needs.
