Job Title: Welder Foreman Job Description

The Welder Foreman is responsible for overseeing welders both at the headquarters and onsite at various manufacturing facilities. This role involves planning and executing projects effectively, including the breakdown, transport, and installation of equipment in new facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a team of welders in the facility and onsite.

• Establish and execute project plans for equipment breakdown, transport, and installation.

• Ensure proper tooling and safety measures are in place.

• Coordinate daily setup and tasks for the welding team.

Essential Skills

• Leadership experience managing a team of 4+ people for over 3 years.

• 5 years of experience in metal fabrication and welding.

• Proficiency in welding techniques including Mig, Stick, Tig, and Flux core.

• Understanding of rigging, material handling, structural and stainless steel.

• Blueprint reading and fabrication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with production and industrial welding processes.

Work Environment

Work alongside a team of 4-7 individuals under the guidance of the foreman. The role involves managing billing and material ordering in addition to welding responsibilities. Enjoy a first shift schedule from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Southbridge, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.00/hr.
