Compensation: $20.65 – $22.01 per hour.

Knott’s Scary Farm is casting STUNT ACTORS for death‑defying Halloween performances as part of the 53rd season. Candidates should have experience in hand‑to‑hand combat, stunt work, and acrobatics. A diverse spectrum of gender identities, ethnic and cultural backgrounds is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Enrich Knott’s Scary Farm’s atmosphere for guests.
• Collaborate with a team to achieve overall atmosphere and goals set by Entertainment leadership and show directors.
• Consistently perform your role as scripted and/or conceived.
• Remain in character while “on‑stage” and in view of guests, interacting in a professional and artistic manner.
• Provide guest service according to Six Flags standards, including initiating interactions, answering questions, and giving directions.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work area, complying with Six Flags Safety guidelines and reporting unsafe or unusual conditions.
• Meet scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Fulfilling attendance requirements as outlined in the Six Flags attendance policy.
• Adhere to Six Flags Rules of Conduct, including specific costuming and grooming standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Availability to work all assigned rehearsal and event dates, including weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Stage combat experience (hand‑to‑hand combat, martial arts, fight choreography).
• Stunt experience (high falls and heights, back falls, controlled burns, fire breathing, handling flames).
• Gymnastics/Acrobatics (dive rolls, tumbling, flips, cartwheel/round‑off, back handsprings).
• Comfortability and professionalism performing scripted explicit lines, intense adult theming, mature content, violence, gore, and graphic scenes.
• Willingness and ability to wear makeup, wigs, and costumes for extended periods in varying California weather conditions and temperatures.
• Ability to pass a background check (if 18 years of age or older).
• Ability to provide records of previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy.
