HVAC Mechanic

HVAC Mechanic PositionSeeking a skilled HVAC Mechanic to support the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC systems in a federal/government facility environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipmentPerform preventive maintenance inspections and routine servicingDiagnose electrical and mechanical system issuesRepair or replace compressors, motors, thermostats, controls, belts, filters, and related componentsMaintain boilers, chillers, air handlers, rooftop units, and ventilation systemsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsEnsure all work complies with OSHA, EPA, and local code requirementsMaintain accurate maintenance records and service documentationRespond to emergency service calls as neededCoordinate with facility staff and contractors to ensure uninterrupted building operationsMinimum Qualifications:Valid HVAC Journeyman License (required)Universal EPA/CFC Certification (required)Minimum 3–5 years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience preferredStrong knowledge of HVAC controls, refrigeration cycles, and mechanical systemsAbility to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical componentsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and work in mechanical spaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditionsValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordIf you are interested in immediate consideration please send resume to Brittany Klaben at View email address on click.appcast.io
