Executive Director - Ahoskie, NC

Position Overview Executive Director – Ahoskie Housing Authority (AHA) located in eastern North Carolina. Lead a staff of nine to manage 136 housing units, including 100 PH, 20 USDA, and 16 supportive units, while expanding affordable housing opportunities on available land and resources. Responsibilities Serve as Chief Executive Officer for all authority operations. Oversee property management and maintenance of current and future units. Lead development, procurement, planning, budgeting, finance, personnel, and grants/contracts programs. Represent the authority in public relations and community affairs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Social Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum seven years of experience in public housing or public administration. At least two years in a senior or executive role with supervisory responsibilities. Public Housing Management Certificate required or ability to obtain one within one year.
