Retail Sales Associate - Part Time

Position Summary Entry‑level, part‑time sales associates for pawn store locations nationwide. Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the store staff to deliver customer service on both lending and retail sides. The associate greets, engages, and processes sales, loans, and other transactions with a wide variety of merchandise, including jewelry, tools, electronics, and firearms (FFL locations). Hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Responsibilities Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and recommend services. Perform non‑management open/close procedures. Maintain a clean, stocked sales floor and display merchandise. Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures and regulations. Handle cash and negotiable items per established policies. Answer incoming calls per company standards. Communicate legal aspects of pawn and loan transactions to customers. Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers. Partner with all employees to create a positive customer experience. Complete assigned training. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Willing and able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds. Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified. May be asked to assist customers outside the store or retrieve products from external storage. Minimum age 18 years. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Strong desire to serve customers and work in a team. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Proficient basic math calculations. Cash handling experience preferred. Willing to work in multiple locations as needed. Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and common office machines. Bilingual applicants encouraged. Commission Plan Information The commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers can earn 2‑8 % commission based on the gross profit of their performance. Details are provided during the interview. Additional Information Employees must agree to a binding arbitration agreement to resolve disputes.
