Senior Accountant

We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team in Miami to support a growing Bitcoin treasury company that currently holds ~\$3bn in assets and is looking to expand its US presence. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of both corporate and investment accounting principals and methodologies. Key Responsibilities Financial Accounting & Reporting Oversee and maintain the organization's financial records, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and periodic reports Record and manage cryptocurrency activity, specifically Bitcoin holdings and transactions Perform reconciliations for digital asset wallets, custodial platforms, and exchange accounts Contribute to monthly and quarterly closing activities Assist in compiling financial statements along with detailed supporting documentation Liaise with external auditors and tax professionals as needed Utilize accounting platforms such as QuickBooks or similar tools to maintain accurate records Digital Asset Treasury Management Track, document, and monitor Bitcoin-related movements, including transfers and acquisitions Maintain up-to-date records of wallet holdings and transaction history Support relationships and coordination with custodians and trading platforms Assist with internal reporting and oversight of digital asset positions Governance, Risk & Compliance Keep thorough transaction documentation and internal records Support the execution and monitoring of internal control frameworks Assist in ensuring compliance with regulations and requirements tied to digital asset activities Prepare and maintain documentation for audits and regulatory reviews Operational & Strategic Support Partner closely with the CFO on treasury management and operational projects Coordinate efforts across internal departments and with external vendors or advisors Contribute to identifying efficiencies and improving operational workflows #J-18808-Ljbffr Selby Jennings
